About Randy Rosen, M.D.

Randy Rosen, M.D., is the President and CEO of Rosen Anesthesia Group based in Los Angeles, California. He is also the Medical Director and Chief of Anesthesia Wellness Wave, LLC. In 1985, he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois Medical School at Chicago in 1989. After obtaining board certification in Anesthesiology and completing a Fellowship in Pain Management, Dr. Rosen officially began practicing medicine in 1998.  

Dr. Rosen, above all, understands how debilitating pain is to his patients’ physical and emotional wellbeing. As such, it is his goal to elevate his patients’ quality of life by maximizing pain relief and improving their psychological well being. Much of his work focuses on being able to evaluate, assess, and treat his patients’ as individuals to create treatment plans that help them to manage and cope with their daily living activities. 

Randy Rosen, M.D. recognizes the opportunity he has been given to help change someone’s life for the better—working with them to make life less painful is an incredibly rewarding experience. With the wide aspect of acute and chronic pain, it has been essential for Dr. Rosen to specialize in the knowledge and skills to treat the conditions that plague his patients’ lives. 

His pain management clinic, founded in 2009, offers a comprehensive, patient-centered, and multi-modal approach in the treatment of chronic pain as it relates to headaches, neck and back pain, and upper and lower extremity pain. Their services include epidural or muscle injections, nerve radiofrequency ablation, lowering opioid dependency, spinal cord stimulation, and nerve blocks. A small clinic with ten employees, Rosen Anesthesia Group is committed to patient-centered approaches.

Prior to founding his own clinic, Randy Rosen, M.D., gained experience at some of the top surgery centers and clinics in Southern California. He began his career as the Medical Director at S&B Surgery Center in Beverly Hills, was the former CEO of Salus Surgery Group, and later became the Chief of Anesthesia at the S&B Surgery Center. To date, he has published multiple scholarly articles, including “Post-Rhytidectomy Pain: Incidents and nature of post-operative face-pain” and “PoroCoat Trilock Hip System: A prospective study.”
